The show must go on! It appears that Aerosmith has decided to take those words to heart and resume their tour tonight in Atlanta. The group has had to postpone several dates due to an injury to frontman Steven Tyler that he sustained during a show in Connecticut and resulted in a torn leg muscle.
With Tyler apparently in good enough shape to take the stage again, another member of the veteran rock group will be sitting out for a while. Bassist Tom Hamilton is said to be recovering from “non-invasive surgery.” It is not clear how long Hamilton will be out of action, but during his absence, Aerosmith friend David Hull will hold down his spot until Hamilton is fit to return. Hull is also a member of The Joe Perry Project.
The month of August will give Scorpions fans in a few select U.S. locations a chance to see the group perform with some home-grown rockers they have teamed up with for their short visit.
The current tour schedule has them teaming up with Sammy Hagar for three shows, Alice Cooper for one show and also Ratt for one show. After visiting the U.S. the Scorpions will be headed to Latin America and then on to Europe.

Whether you consider their albums sales in excess of 80 million or the impressive number of locations around the world where they have performed as their most impressive accomplishment, the Scorpions are surely a band that has gone global.
When your hear reports of children on the banks of the Amazon River singing one of your songs, I suppose it is safe to assume you have made it, and that satisfaction has not come for these German rockers without logging a lot of miles and playing a lot of shows for their fans across the globe.
It’s probably safe to say that most fans enjoy a little glimpses into the more personal sides of the lives of their favorite celebrities and performers. The tabloids have not been lining supermarket checkout aisles for decades because that can’t make a profit, that’s for sure! Lot’s of people love celebrity gossip.
Although today’s offering is nothing as salacious as you might expect to find in a supermarket tabloid (how much of that stuff is true remains a mystery for the most part), it does shed a little light on the backstage lives of hard-rocking Aussie rockers AC/DC. Read More >>
